Tesco, one of the 3 major supermarkets in the UK, has taken delivery of a new Gulfstream G550 business jet. Tesco are currently under scrutiny after over-estimating their profit forecast by £250 million ($400 million.) The company has said that, although they only took delivery of the aircraft recently, they ordered and paid for it almost 2 years ago. The newly delivered aircraft (registration: G-LSCW) brings the total number of aircraft owned by the supermarket to 5.

Tesco already operate 1 Gulfstream (pictured) and various other aircraft including a Thrsuter T600 microlight.

Tesco have since said that all 5 aircraft were planned to be sold. However, they had already signed a contract for delivery of the new aircraft so had to take delivery of it.
