I just saw the thread of westonallen0990 in CA about the Associated Airlines - The Air Alliance and I think this could work different in FH if we get those passengers carried by an aircraft to be frozen in a city.

Example:

100 people wants to fly from Medellin to Amsterdam. A Tu-204 (Of that alliance) sends those 100 passengers from Medellin to Chicago. These 100 passengers are on Stand by until let´s say a 777-300 from Hollandia takes them again to finish the flight to Amsterdam where that people wanted to fly.

This is the way I think a role play connection could work well.
RP flights.... Interesting idea.

Great idea. I don't know...Would you want a scheduling system or something like that and a system for RP codeshares?
It could be a system that allows alliances or airlines in codeshare to freeze the passenger package. If I want to travel from Medellin to Kuala Lumpur I need to cover 18,938 km and any aircraft is capable of covering that distance. Then I can make an alliance or a codeshare with a Chinese airline to transport a group of people from Medellín to an intermediate point (Beijing, Tokyo or something) and my codeshare partner or my alliance partner could finish the trip. Of course I can Refuel and continue the flight but I like the idea of codesharing with another airline to have fun.

It could reboost a bad Flight. If a flight from Medellin to Papeete has a little demand I can full my plane with a group of people wanting to fly to Tokyo with a stop in Papeete and maybe my partner can take a little group of passenger in Papeete wanting to fly to Tokyo among the other package of people.
I see how this could work.
I think this could work realy well, however there should be some reason for people to choose an indirect flight. Weather that be that its cheaper or that there is not a direct flight available.
There actually doesn't really need to be a reason. For example (this example is pre-american-usair merger Tongue), like if I wanted to fly from PHL to IAH on United I could fly direct, or take a united-us airways flight to ORD and fly united from ORD to IAH.
Well you always can fly indirect. The question is though is weather or not you do. The vast majority of the population care about speed, connivance and price. As such the indirect flight has to be ahead on some of these areas. For most people the chance to t fly on a given airline/plane is not a reason to chose an indirect flight.
