The Cessna 195 seems a bit small - but hey, it'll be fun to have a go flying

Regarding these short range/local routes, could there be a way to make them a bit more profitable?

I don't know. In CA, I operated a local airline with a bunch of DHC 6-Twin Otters, they were the best locals, but only made about $800-$1999 per flight, while the Cessna 208s made about $30-$700. There needs to be a way to make it profitable here. Perhaps, local planes need to unlock once a person reaches a certain rating, therefore they will have more upgrades and a higher chance of making some actual money with locals. Or we could just make it more profitable then CA all together. The 195s hold 4 pax.

Here's an idea. Small aircraft are usually operated on remote flights from small airports to major hubs (in the UK anyway.) Maybe you could treat local flights as charters and increase the price of the tickets or something?
