New York City
#1
I'll be departing for New York City on an American Airlines airplane via a stopover in Chicago(Heart) early tommorow morning, and will return on Sunday around noon. On Saturday evening, i will perform in Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately, photography is forbidden within the hall.

Great. What kind of aircraft are you flying on?

I'd like to hear a recording of your performance! Good luck! Big Grin[hr]*guessing at the flights*
AAL 198 from ORD-JFK and AAL 199 from JFK-ORD?
according to google: Boeing 737; 31-inch legroom; No personal video; some seats with power; both flights often delayed by 30+ minutes.

As of right now, I'm not sure, but will check when we board. Flight plan is SAN-ORD-JFK; we'll arrive around 5 PM. It is, however, quite a coincidence...when my family moved to San Diego from Chicago, we boarded an American Aielines flight.

Delayed flights? Oh no...

Unfortunately, I believe that recording is not allowed/nonexistent, and photography is prohibited. Also, since the space is quite small, it's easy to get caught, and when that happens, the photgraph or recording will have to be deleted.

Speaking of the flight, I have to get up at 4 AM tommorow for a flight that will depart around 6:50. But, I haven't seen Chicago since I was 8 years old, and am looking forward to arriving there. Hopefully, I can post a few photos about the trip here (if I have time.)

Where are you flying from?

My first guess was TPE, but I can't find any flights from TPE to ORD.

We've arrived in NYC (LaGuardia) from SAN (my family moved to San Diego about a year ago.)

The transfer was in ORD-temperature was 10 degrees Fahrenheit. No snow...Undecided
Laguardia's so tiny. But at least they have Auntie Annie's pretzels (haven't seen those in 7 years.)

Every airport has Auntie Annie's Tongue
And...well...it's going to get colder than ten degrees over here....think...0 degrees Fahrenheit, without factoring in the wind chill.

Well at that sort of temperature it's starting to get to cold to snow.

Our flight got cancelled. :/ I believe it is -5 degrees Fahrenheit, not sure about the exact temperature.
Also, the subway is (unfortunately) dilapidated-there was dried feces on the doors, and the subway cars make alot of noise (in fact, you can hear them from 1 or 2 blocks away.) Also, you have to swipe your subway card, and the subway system is quite slow (2 hours from LaGuardia to the are around Central Park.) I miss Taipei's subway system. But it snowed! I miss the sensations of the sole of the shoe digging into the snow. Unfortunately, the snow here is gray with soot.

After my family went to Carnegie, we went to the Guggenheim. Only the second and third floors have noteworthy art (Kadinsky, van Gogh, Seurat, Renoir and a few other French artists.) I didn't get to eat lunch (no time), and the prices for food are quite high.

Update: There will be a snowstorm tomorrow.
