Question

Hi all.

Let´s revive the chat

In your native thoughts what is the difference about saying:

"Alliance members" and "Alliance´s members".

Thanks in advance

Agreed it seems a bit flat at the moment, Id go for "Alliance members", the second should only be used if an alliance owns its members.

This is how I interpret it:
Alliance Member means someone who is a member of an alliance as a general thing. (brain could not think of a better word for thing Tongue)
Alliance's Member means someone who is a member of an alliance as an organization.

Sort of like:
The Corporation Employee
vs.
The Corporation's Employee

[edit]

*grammar thought*

When you say (the) alliance member the "the" goes to the member.
When you say (the) alliance's member the "the" goes to the alliance.

The Alliance Member (the member)
The Alliance's Member (the alliance)
